Angling

The area is very good for trout and salmon in rivers and nearby lochs - allegedly we have the second best salmon river in Scotland very nearby. The Kyles offer good mackerel fishing from the pier, or Holidays Argyll can give you the loan of a boat.

The Kyles of Bute offer unrivalled canoeing with spectacular scenery in sheltered waters. Unless of course you’re confident enough to brave a cruise round Bute or across open water to Arran.
